Engaging reverse gear

Citroen C3. 5-speed manual gearbox

Fully depress the clutch pedal.
Push the gear lever fully to the right, then backwards.

As a safety precaution and to facilitate starting the engine:

Always select neutral.
Depress the clutch pedal.

Parking brake

Release Pull the parking brake lever up slightly, press the release button, then lower the lever fully.
